The Menu Item Visibility http://drupal.org/project/menu_item_visibility has a different and more flexible approach which seems to me a good replacement option for the D7 version of Menu Per Role module.

So I suggest you to discontinue the support for D7 version onwards of Menu Per Role and replace this text

Drupal 7

A Drupal 7 version is available although it doesn't work very well yet. The Drupal 7 users will appreciate if you can become a maintainer as Alexis is not working on Drupal 7 at all anymore.

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion, I have added Menu item visibility in the list of similar modules.

As there are now new co-maintainers, I will not write that the module is deprecated.
