Anonymous cannot see menu leading the access denied page

To all

As i would like to encourage people to register to my website, so i have put some menu leading to valuable page that is for only registered member, but when anonymous enter the menu, instead of access denied page, my website will redirect visitors to registration page. This works for sometime but right now after I have updated both drupal and menu per role several times through times, it does not work as I intended anymore. The menu leading to registered member page is no longer visible to anonymous even I have checked the visibility of the menu for anonymous. Does anyone know how to solve this problems?
