I'd like to add a menu's description to the top of a menu block, but I can't figure out how to do it through the available theme hooks. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.

awasson CreditAttribution: awasson commentedIf it is to be somewhat static text, you can create a block with text in it and place it above your menu block.

jmcintyre CreditAttribution: jmcintyre commentedThanks - that would let me add text to the page but I was looking for a way to automatically include the content of the menu's "Description" field into the menu block itself, after the title but before the menu items.

It would be nice to have a theme hook that let us display content as we wish (my need is to have the menu description under the menu title).
