MENTORING EVENTS

  • First-Time Contributor Workshop: FRIDAY 10 am CET. chrisdarke and annika clarke
  • Mentor Orientation: 16:15 - 17:00 Wednesday @valthebald
  • Novice Issue Triage: 17:15-18:00 Thursday @valthebald
  • Contribution Lounge (Tuesday-Thursday)
    • 1 big zoom link only to be joined on the right side of the screen under “contribution virtual meeting room” + “join contribution lobby”
    • Once inside the contribution lobby : breakout rooms (topics) to be chosen
    • A “First Time Contributors” topic pre-setup under this big zoom as one of the breakout room
  • Friday Contribution - 9 am - 6pm CET
    • General contribution:1 big zoom with break out rooms,to be joined on the right side of the screen under “contribution lounge” just like the rest of the week
    • Mentored Contribution:1 breakout room out of the general contribution big zoom
    • First-Time Contributors workshop:1 aircast room accessible from the timeline. Workshop will be at 10am CET Friday ONLY

So far both "First-Time Contributor Workshop" and "Mentored Contribution" says "Schedule: Coming soon" at https://events.drupal.org/europe2020/contribution -- do we know times now? It would be great / important to publish.

The schedule is currently:

  • First-Time Contributor Workshop — Wednesday 10:30–12:15
  • Mentor Orientation — Wednesday 13:30–14:15 and Thursday 10:15–11:00
  • Issue Triage — Wednesday 17:15–18:00

I'll mention it to Kuoni to get the site updated.

@John Cook: is "Mentored Contribution" all day on Friday? That is line item in the contribution page with yet undefined dates.

@gábor-hojtsy Yes as far as I'm aware. The "Contribution Day" is Friday 9:00 to 18:00. Mentored Contribution usually runs concurrently, unless there's something else planned. There isn't anything different with the information I have.
