I have the Media: Youtube config setting "Do not show YouTube logo on video player (modestbranding)" checked, but it still displays the Youtube logo at lower right after multiple refreshes and cache clearings. Ideally for the current purposes, I want no links to the Youtube site and no viral sharing options. Are these all possible with Youtube and this module, or maybe I need to move to Vimeo for more control in this case?

If you disable Show controls, the logo will be visible before the video starts playing -- even if modestbranding is set to 1. If you do show controls, though, the logo doesn't appear until you begin playing the video.

YouTube has deprecated many of the parameters that slim down the chrome, unfortunately. See https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters
