I am about to pull all my f$@!ing hair out. How the hell is this supposed to work?
I am using
- emfield 6.x-2.5
- Media: YouTube 6.x-1.x-dev
I have even tried Media: YouTube 6.x-1.3, using url embed and
embed options. I have selected "Use the HTML5 player instead of the Flash-based" and every video I have tried still shows using flash. What hoops do I need to jump through to get this working?

lance.gliser CreditAttribution: lance.gliser commentedI'm tempted to mark this as a duplicate of #884464: Support for HTML 5-compatible YouTube embed, since many people are reporting that their videos embed blank. But there isn't enough information in your report to be sure.
Please post your results with each browser so we can more clearly identify the behavior. Also, have a look over that thread, it might provide you the solution.

Also, some people call the newer, recommended iframe embed the "HTML5 player", when it's actually an HTML5 compatible embed. When it's loaded, Youtube checks your device/browser and decides which will give the better experience. Are you trying to force an HTML5 player or use the new iframe embed which will choose for you?
