I use Colorbox 7.x-1.3 with media gallery. When creating a gallery, under presentation settings, if the user selects "show media in a lightbox" and "Show title and description" the title is displayed but not the description.

Is the description field enabled in your file display settings for lightbox?
admin/config/media/file-types -> manage display (on your specific file type - like image) -> Gallery lightbox

Thank you for the images. I can see the problem on your website.

It seem to be a Chrome & Safari (for Windows) issue (IE, FF and Opera works fine). They break the floating Description field under the image to the left side (out of colorbox). Therefore this cannot be seen.

I can confirm the problem:

When i enable the checkbox "show title and description" in my gallery settings, the images dosent open in colorbox.
ok, although the box is opened but can not see the image!

If I disable it - images open in colorbox as provided.

I test it with this modules:

test it with IE, firefox, chrome, safari

Until we find a proper solution, i attach a workaround, which solves the rendering bug(?).

After colorbox has set the width of the lightbox, the patch overrides the padding value to zero and afterwards removes the overridden value. Therefore the content is rendered again and seems to place the floated elements as expected.
