Media Browser loses file selections when filters are updated

The problem: Media Browser loses file selections when filters are updated.

How the problem presents itself: I am using Media Browser as a file attachment field on content type. When creating that content type, I click on Files to call up the Media Browser. I then use the filters to see all files with the taxomony term A and I select a few files. I then use the filters to see all the files for taxonomy term B and select a few more files. When I submit the node only the files selected under taxonomy term B are added.

What is expected: All the selected files from both taxonomy term A and B should be attached to the node.

Should this module work as I expect above?
