The current listing of internet media providers can take up a lot of space when a large number of media provider modules are enabled. I also haven't noticed any provider modules taking advantage of the extra styling opportunities made available by the unordered list and unique class.
It might be easier to simply list the supported providers inline, as is done with the allowed file extensions, file types, etc.
