What is the preferred way (if any) to upload multiple files at once using the media module (2.0)? I've tried plupload but it doesn't seem to work with media 2.0? If it does, i'm probably doing something wrong.

HnLn CreditAttribution: HnLn commentedSame here, I noticed that with the gallery module enabled it is available on the medie field (next to the browser). Unfortunately gallery creates it's own content type (for some obscure reason, what if I want a location content type with multiple images ...) so it's not an option for me.

I have plupload installed successfully but there is nothing like a batch upload. Would be very goof to have...

Dave ReidDid you try looking at admin/content/file/import ?

HnLn CreditAttribution: HnLn commentedThat might work but in my case, that's not what I need (my end users don't have a directory where they can upload files to import from). I'm looking for the plupload integration mentioned on the media project page "Drag and drop upload (with Plupload module)".
Maybe we should change title to plupload integration, or if this issue is about the import functionality I can create a new one for plupload only ?

Dave ReidIf you have the plupload module enabled, you should be able to click on the 'Add file' button on admin/content/file and in the 'Upload' tab it should be a multiple upload field.

HnLn CreditAttribution: HnLn commentedAh OK tnx, I was looking for it from my node form as this approach still adds quite a few steps to adding content with multiple images.
Let's make it a feature request then :-)
Is it possible to also add plupload integration when you're adding images from a content form. As mentioned I think this is possible with gallery module but that's not an option for me since I have multiple content types with multiple images.
(P.S.: apologies if I'm hijacking the original issue with this).

Dave ReidThat should probably be handled with #951004: Allow selecting of multiple media items for a multi value media field in the same dialog

blierp CreditAttribution: blierp commentedDave, thanks for the explanation! But is it by design that this isn't available from the node? As HnLn is saying, this complicates matters when handling a large amount of images. I have multiple nodes with each more then 50 images and while it's a pain to select them one by one it will be hard to find all the images in the media library.
I reckon the batch uploading will be available from nodes when the issue you mentioned will be implemented?
