On the display screen on an oa_radix site, the options are vertical not horizontal.

Could you attach a screenshot? I'm not sure wether you're talking about the configuration form or the answer form.

Anyway it seems highly related to your theme and I'm not in favor of adding an !important in this modul's css. You should add it to your theme

I create/edit
I can fill in the choices I want.
I hit enter and the node appears.
The actual answer form is the one with issues.
I think it is because it is a bootstrap theme.
