cron / last ping?

Last cron variable is carried in data array that is sent rarely. ping on the other hand is executed way more often, but it does not mean that full cron has been run.

Sometimes cron gets stuck on some hook_cron and it actually has not run at all. Also, it is very confusing to see that last cron is up to 24h late just because data get's sent every 24 hours. Maybe at least last_cron should be send with ping.
