Problem/Motivation

We have added an extra checkmark field to a webform so the user can subscribe to one or a combination of lists, however, since then only users who tick both boxes get subscribed to both lists in mailchimp. Users who tick either one of them, does not get subscribed to any list.

Proposed resolution

I have not found a possible solution or workaround yet.

Remaining tasks

Investigate if this is a bug or some problem specific to my implementation. Fix bug if present.

I'd like to help you with your issue, and would like to ask you for some more contextual information. Are you able to subscribe users to a single list? If so, I would recommend using that single list, and then drilling down that list with Interest Groups or Segments in MailChimp to send to particular subscribers. Here is more documentation on this: http://blog.mailchimp.com/sending-targeted-emails-with-interest-groups/ The nice thing about Interest Groups is that you can have users subscribe to some, all or none of them all at once.

We're going to be ending support for the 7.x-3.x branch due to the upcoming deprecation of the v2.0 MailChimp API. If you're still seeing this issue with the most recent release, please feel free to reopen for the 7.x-4.x branch.
