Exaltation of Larks, the company where I work, is working on an LTS version of Drupal 6. I'd like to rejuvenate this project and contribute /maintain a security-hardened version of Drupal 6. May I be a co-maintainer?

Great! I've added you to the maintainers list. My thoughts on how the module might be structured are on the homepage of the project; but feel free to disregard, start over, and take this an any direction you wish. I will try to give feedback, but am unlikely to contribute much. Once you get in the groove, I'll transfer ownership of the module also.

Thanks, John! It's been a busy week and I haven't been able to get back to you until now, but I'm immensely grateful for your help with this. We're having an LTS meeting this evening and will review the current LTS project overview and put together a roadmap.

Do you know Carsten, who heads up the LTS group at http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-lts ? It's been quiet for a quite a while. When there's something new and noteworthy to share, I'd love to post it there.

You'll definately get better participation in that group than anything in this issue queue. I would just occasionally cross reference that group in roadmap type threads here.

My interest in LTS comes from university research sites, where funding goes away but content is occasionally still useful. So the ability to maintain an existing site is quite useful. I don't know Carsten.
