Canvas component tree field compatibility

Problem/Motivation

Linkchecker does not work with Canvas in its current state.

Steps to reproduce

Create some canvas pages with bad links and use the linkchecker module. It does not register the bad links.

Proposed resolution

I think it will need to read the component tree field type to work as expected.
