First of all, I'd like to thank you for a seriously phenomenal theme. Kudoz and keep up the great work!
But one thing that I've noticed is that the "mission statement" does not show on the front page, even though I made sure that I had enabled all the correct settings (general and theme-specific). Is there something I'm missing or have this feature not been implemented yet?

zilla CreditAttribution: zilla commentedthat's a tough one! i love it without the mission, but if we need one - and many will, because they use it insert assorted stuff, including changing messages, perhaps either:
way up top in bar where search is
below header top region in home page (above two columns area but below content top block - e.g. below the green rectangle on demo site, but above both of those columns (page and sidebar)
