Hi,
I attempted to upgrade from Libraries 7.x-1.0 to 7.x-2.1 as there was a security upgrade for colorbox which in turn required the newer version of Libraries. As there was not an 'upgrade' listed in the modules section of Drupal, I deleted the Libraries folder under modules and replaced it with the 2.1 version. Going back to the modules list, the version was still 1.0.

I then disabled Libraries and tried to 'uninstall' it. It still remained there. I then deleted the 'Libraries' module from modules searched the database and removed any reference to 'libraries' under the system table as well as a reference that I had found in a cache. I left references that I found in the watchdog table as some of those also referred to the actual 'libraries' folder.

So, no 'libraries' folder under 'modules' and no reference to 'libraries' in the system table and yet its still in the modules list and I am unable to install the newer version.

I am not sure, of course whether this is a 'libraries' problem or a 'drupal 7' problem but I am at the latest version of 'drupal 7' and have libraries 7.x-2.1 operating without problem in other sites.

I would welcome any suggestions as to what to try next.

Thanks
