This release primarily includes updates to LayoutStudio that are needed to enable certain features in the LayoutStudio Extras companion module. If you are using LayoutStudio <= 7.x-1.6 you should update to this release or higher.

This release also includes the following new feature:

feature #1034736: Set defaults for theme features so that LayoutStudio can support them, but have some turned off by default.

Add ability to create full width header or footer on theme config page.

If you have LayoutStudio 2.3 or lower, you'll need to the the following to backport:

Adding ability to specify if you want header or footer to fit the entire browser window, regardless of site width.

Update documentation, remove #content div (no longer required with header outside of #container div)

New feature: #1020120: create new user role classes

Initial commit of Layoutstudio 2.x with support for LESS CSS Preprocessor (http://drupal.org/project/less).

Not recommended to update from 1.x at this point.

Mostly refinements and typographic enhancements from the 1.1 release. Also added clearfix and clear-block support, maintenance template file.
