has anyone had success using a client-side editor with this theme? i downloaded and enabled wysiwyg 7.x-2.0 with the TinyMCE editor. the installation was successful and i was able to activate buttons for editing, BUT the editor is not visible and does not show up. i tried clearing cache / disabling and re-enabling, etc, but to no avail.
one of the faq's seems on-point (though i don't get an error message), but i don't understand how to apply the proposed solution to layoutstudio -- i'd really appreciate any help / let me know if i can provide additional information. (similarly, if anyone has recommendations for a different module that works with the theme, that would be great.)
"Q: I got it working for Garland, however, when I switch to my custom theme no editor shows up? (Sometimes includes a "Drupal is not defined" JavaScript error)
A: Please ensure that $scripts is output before $closure in page.tpl.php of your theme. Also make sure your page.tpl.php in your theme contains print $closure somewhere at the bottom. Without this theme area the module will not work.""

rjay CreditAttribution: rjay commentedI tested this with the current version of LayoutStudio (7.x-1.8), WYSIWYG 7.x-2.0 and TinyMCE 3.4.2. I enabled the WYSIWYG module and configured my input formats to use TinyMCE and it showed up immediately when I started editing some content.
When you view the source of your page, do you see a wysiwyg.js module being included near the bottom of the page?
