I've probably inherited this misc/compat-1.0.js file from an older version of JQuery...
But I don't know whether it's still useful or not?
If so, could you tell us since what version of JQuery is this file deprecated? (you may change the title accordingly, else I'll do so)
Many thanks in advance, and huge congrats for the stable 2.0 release! I can now upgrade to drupal 5.8 and the latest JQuery all at once! That a great step! Great package!
Best regards, Arsène

Sorry, but I couldn't find it out in the main #156221: Upgrade to JQuery 1.2.6 issue.
Possibly related/duplicate issues:
#282055: Patches to jQuery 1.2.6 and compat.js
#314761: misc/compat-1.0.js and misc/collapse-fix.js showing in logs

heddnMarking this as won't fixed. 5.x is no longer supported/maintained. If this is still an issue in 7.x, then please re-open.
