any chance of a merge of some kind or integration?

something like having a module responsible for automatically downloading the scripts and sharing them to other modules? (thinking Libraries API + jQuery Update)

there's a lot of jQuery modules that could have their scripts living at sites/all/libraries, accessible through Libraries API and updatable by Libraries API or some other module like jQuery Update.

Please include description of integration, if any, with Libraries API to the project page.
IMHO, currently, Libraries API is a de-facto for all 3rd party plugins and people need to know how to choose between these two.
