The 2.x branch of Module Filter has some great functionality, but using it with Journal creates some odd behavior. When enabling or disabling a module, the journal entry is required. If a user does not add an entry, the validation fails and the user sees a "journal entry is required error". From that version of the form, adding the journal entry will save the entry, but none of the module states will change to reflect what was disabled or enabled in UI.
