support for IE 7 [#128099]

hi.

I am using a slightly modified version of this theme on my site: www.nattiq.com but I notice that the theme doesn't look that lovely in IE7. the logo, I have been told isn't looking where it should. can anybody reproduce this? if this is a known bug, can you recommend a work around?

i hope to know if this problem also happened within official release of this package? i have tried to test the theme out among FF2/IE7/IE6 as i can, and the theme is tested as XHTML and CSS valid. if some special hack is required for IE7 for keeping the theme stable, i will also try to handle it.

BTW, i think you site http://www.nattiq.com/ is using your custom version of this theme (may be is your http://drupal.org/project/internet_services_rtl). as that theme is a FORK version of internal_services, i will suggest to keep such supporting request under that theme, but not here ;-)

When you hack the core -- that is, change the code in the system's foundational programming -- you create a "fork": a variant of the system that is now unique. While such hacking may be tempting -- after all, it can be a relatively easy way to change features and functionality (and you do own the code and have every right to hack to your heart's content) -- ultimately venturing down that path can end up being a very costly decision, namely because when you hack the core, you stand alone.

I do understand the risk associated with creating a fork of open source work, and agree with the quotation you sited here.

however, what I have forked in that theme was only the style.css for the arabic locale, which gets loaded only when arabic is active. but the problem shows in www.nattiq.com/en (the english version)I think.

but since I still use version 4.7 of the theme on that site which is running 5.01 of drupal now, I should test it with your new 5.1 version of the theme, which I see have been rewritten. only problem is that I have to wait for some sighted help to know the results. (yes, I am a blind user).

so I will keep the issue active until then, and will get back to you.
