¿ (the artisan way of) Working Module ?

I'm in the process of trying to enjoy the module in it's full capabilty. Hence , from Instagram's feeds

• importing images
• importing images captions
• importing images captions emojis

As already known, current version 7.x-1.5 is not stable, unless you patch it ? .

Let's ... patch it (P1) ?. Ok. Done.
Now, ¿ is it working as expected ... ?
Not yet, from my experience, as long as images caption emojis are not being shown :-|

Do we have a patch for the emojis problem ... ? Yes, we do . ^^

Not yet, from my experience, as long as the second patch (P2) was developed ¿not upon 7.x-1.5 but upon 7.x-1.5--dev version ? .

¿ Did someone succeeded in reaching a full Instagram Social Feed module's capability & stability ? If yes ... ¿ how to ?
¿ What are we missing here ?

Could it be ... that

+ by sticking to 7.x-1.5 version
+ P1 patch and
+ not issueing 'patch < P2' ... but manually diffing P2 code

is leading us towards to the what i call a ((n)artisan way of) Working Module ?
