pcate commentedI ran into this migration issue as well. It was causing all imports to fail. I needed both this patch and the one in https://www.drupal.org/project/inline_entity_form/issues/3208279 to resolve the issue.

sjhuskey commentedThis solution worked for me. I was getting `The "" plugin does not exist.` related to Inline Entity Form. After installing this branch, those errors were gone.

geek-merlinToo many migration issues, many of which look overlapping or duplicate.
Postponing on parent issue.

anybody99% sure I think this is a duplicate of #3221074: Implemented hook_migration_plugins_alter() breaks migrations, if shared configuration used in migration configs. which is the root cause of issue reported in core migration system: #3275819: Provide useful error message for: The "" plugin does not exist on Drupal 6 / 7 migrations (but isn't a core bug I think, but created by inline_entity_form).
Maintainers should have a look, but I think this should be closed as duplicate of #3221074: Implemented hook_migration_plugins_alter() breaks migrations, if shared configuration used in migration configs. and we should proceed there, as this issue just contains quickfixes, no solutions.
#3208279: Undefined index: plugin at src/MigrationHelper.php:35 was also closed as duplicate of #3221074: Implemented hook_migration_plugins_alter() breaks migrations, if shared configuration used in migration configs.. So I hope it's okay to do that @Axel?
BTW as this is indeed Major for migrations and hard to find, I'll set the other issue Major now.
