winzip doesn't like inline tar file [#17809]

This is the first module I've tried to add - maybe I'm not understanding what to do. I downloaded inline-4.5.0.tar.tar onto my (windows xp) local pc, and tried to open it with the latest winzip. I get 'error reading header after processing 0 entries'
Is there some other way I should obtain the module? I am hosted on a remote site - I had intended to get the module onto my local machine and ftp it across.
I also tried to get the documentation, but it seemed to have the same name as the module itself.

This is not related to the module.
As far as I know, there are cases in which browser prevents automatic open of a zip file.
Try right clicking on the link to the file and choose 'save link as' then, onec saved, open it with Winzip.
It should work....

Thanks for getting back so quickly Matteo. That's what I did though - saved it then tried to open it. I haven't had any trouble with winzip before, though I've never tried to open a .tar file, only zips and cads.
I'd be grateful for any pther suggestions...

The problem is that the file gets renamed by Internet Explorer when you open it directly, to .tar.tar. Winzip is not smart enough to see that it is a gzip, and fails. If you save it first, the filename correctly ends in .tar.gz and winzip can read it.
