I'm finding that images I upload (using imagefield) during node creation are not saving with the node. Only when I go back in and edit the newly created node, re-upload the images, and then re-save do the images show up in the node. Specifically, I am working with ubercart product nodes in case that is relevant.I have not tested this with other nodes since I have no need for it and therefor do not know if it is an ubercart product node specific issue or a general imagefield on nodes issue.Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I can assure you that ImageField out-of-box will save images on upload into new nodes. You should first try upgrading your relevant modules to that latest versions, then try and figure out what circumstances uploads fail around. If it's just Ubercart, this question should be asked in their queue.
