Firstly I would like to say "WOW" and congratulations.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a hypergraph as a map of a social networking site. The way that I conceptualise it, it would work with User module, Buddylist module and Profile module. In effect one would be able to visually jump from one set of friends to another and so forth (pretty much the kind of activity that most people do on facebook -- viewing each other's friends etc).

And double clicking on each user would take us to their profile page.

At the same time Social Hypergraph could work with profile fields that users fill during their registration. Just like the trees that you have for the university and different faculties. So people can map countries, universities, towns, interests etc.

I'm wondering if any of these is possible and if any of this is on the development roadmap?

I am looking for something similar. I think it might be easier to implement with User Relationships in stead of buddylist. I am thinking of creating a module of that maybe, or would it be better to integrate this with hypergraph?. My hypergraph skills are ok, but I would need to brush up on the Drupal api. Anybody interested in collaborating?
