Enabling HTML5 Media disables several other modules

I just installed this version to try it out. I used it because i want to try out the mediafront module's minplayer. Upon enabling it, a bunch of my modules, including views, ctools, module filters etc got disabled. The whole site is broken!! I don't think this is the intention of the module but some combinations of factors causes the modules to do this to my site. I will tried to restore the data base but I sure will not try this on any site without doing a complete backup first.
