I have a 3 level taxonomy and a simple content type.

HS works fine in a standard node form but when panels overrides the node edit form with a standard variant it just hangs after I select the first level. Tried alpha 4 and 5, and various widget config options - same deal.

Having the same problem here. Using Scald for media management, which using ctools modals for creating new scald entities (atoms). Using a hs widget on one of these types hangs the modal window after selecting the first level of hierarchy. Please let me know if there is a known fix. Meantime, I will dig into the code and see if I can figure it out.

It's been 5 years and all the related codebases have moved on a lot. If this is still an issue please reopen with detailed steps to reproduce. Preferably starting from a clean D7 install of the Standard profile.
