I never used the page_theme module, I'll investigate this
I'm changing the priority, as this module is not widely used hope it's okay

abowers CreditAttribution: abowers commentedHi, I'm noticing similar behavior with the Subsites module - having the Hide Submit module enabled seems to remove the ability for subsites to switch themes across created subsites. However, it is only affecting the themes portion of this functionality, you can set block visibility per subsite, as well as put in specific CSS, but this still works as normal.

abowers CreditAttribution: abowers commentedOk, at least for the Subsites module, the themes seem to only be broken when the "Hide buttons and display message" is selected in the settings, when "Disable buttons (Experimental)" is selected, the themes work fine. I wonder if it is the same with the page_theme module?

If the issue is relevant for the 7.x version: I apologize for closing it. Can you please reopen it and adjust the version number?
