Buttons get mixed up

The hide submit button appears to mix up buttons on a page. I created a views bulk modify with multiple buttons. Clicking one button actually activates another button when this module is enabled. This turned out to be very unfortunate in my case as one button was "Delete" deleting nodes and the other button was something less devastating. I clicked the less devastating button, but the Delete button is what got activated. I thought maybe I made a mistake and tried it several times with both the module enabled and disabled. When the module was enabled, was able to confirm that indeed the wrong button is activated.
