This heartbeat module is superior, thanks. I wanna use it to display all site activity including status updates, but is it possible to restrict the characters for the shout box to a certain number, like 160, and display this to the user at the top of box (eg 160 characters allowed like on twitter or FBSS module)? Also, i want to hide remaining characters when displaying the statuses after a certain preset limit is reached (like facebook does). I would also appreciate any code dat would assist me do this if functionality is not yet supported. Thanks.
