the integration of the modules shoutbox heartbeat and rules went off frictionless and they're working as they are supposed to be.

there's just one problem - an activity comment in the heartbeat stream is being followed to the worng node and not to the actual activity message where it belongs to.

does anyone know what to do?

It seems there are many problems here with the comments. What happens when you delete your comments? For me the node not found and there is a blank page. Here is my issue:

I did not have the problem that a comment is attached to the wrong node yet. I can say it could be confusing to comment on "merged" messages. Is that the case with you?
So for instance "userA create node3, node2 and node1." . When you comment on this, it will be attached to node3 ...

Otherwise I can't reproduce.

@fraweg: this is a total other issue, the one you are referring to is already fixed.
