Creating user stream in a heartbeat view

I need to show site activity in a stream using heartbeat module and so i created a view with heartbeat activity as view type . i refered a heartbeat issue [http://drupal.org/node/968038] to create a heartbeat view .The view has the following

Display type :page

Fields:

Heartbeat activity: Message

Heartbeat activity: Action's timestamp

relationship

Heartbeat activity: Heartbeat message id

But it showed empty page.I couldn't found any tutorial for this purpose.Is there anything i have to do to show site activity by views using heartbeat module?
