After looking everywhere with my hosting company why images were not showing, I switched the theme back to Bartik 7.15 and images started to show up in «view» mode of nodes.

Is this a problem with Hatch or is there a «trick» to make images show up in Hatch?

To load images to my site, I created a new content type with a title field, a content field and an image field. It works 100% in Bartik, but not in Hatch.

Please help with this problem. Thank you.

Hatch theme is intended to display only the article node images in the front page.The issue with the new content type images is fixed.These changes are available in the latest 7.x-1.x-dev snapshot.
