text color and images

Hi,

I've probably missed something, but text is sometimes changing color, from black to gray:
- line break?

I am currently struggling to make images appear on my site (a 755 thing?), but once it will be ok, will images (content type with image field) load on the front page automatically just like in the screenshot? Did I understand correctly the theme description? (not that good in english...). Will it work even if I did the front page with panels?

edit.: just added a bloc in the footer region and it did not appear.
