Hi,

Since updating to 8.x-1.0 and 1.1, I can no longer use reusable blocks... They show up in the UI, but when I try to insert them, I get a "this block is unavailable or deleted" message.

Even on existing nodes, they still display fine but when I edit, I get the same message -- and the underlying code seems to remove the block identifier, leaving just <!-- wp:block /--> where the reusable block appears, stripping out the {"ref":5} reference to the block...

Also, I'm not finding any way to create a new reusable block.

What am I missing?

Cheers,
John

For us, reusable blocks is the "killer feature" of Gutenberg, so we've been eagerly awaiting a fix! However, rolling back to RC1 did get it working for us again...
