Would you like to try to repair it yourself?"
Repairing it myself rejects my password, and I am using the correct password.
My assumption is that I'm not a 'confirmed' user? Is that the case? If so, can you suggest a way I can gain access to the groups.drupal.org site in the short term so I can post the job ad?

apadernoOn g.d.o there is a ben_a account which has not been synchronized with any d.o account.

apadernoThe issue is that the username on d.o is Ben_A, while on g.d.o is ben_a. I cannot see the email used on g.d.o; it could also be the email is different too.
May you try changing your username to ben_a, wait 24 hours, and see if you can log in on groups.drupal.org? Once the g.d.o account is synchronized, you can change back the username.
