Hope this gives you some clue that the issue is more with groups.drupal.org than drupal.org, If you would like I can also look into this...just not sure where to get the code for Drupal groups site and how to proceed....

sreynen CreditAttribution: sreynen as a volunteer commentedI've been unable to reproduce this on my account logging in directly to groups.drupal.org. Kalaiselvan Swamy, do you have 2 factor auth enabled on your account? If not, please try that and see if it resolves the problem.
