For me, #2843994: Warnings when snippets files are missing - create them automatically would have to be resolved.

Hi folks, nice work on getting this module on d.o.

I thought I'd propose this before a release candidate goes out and freezes all such changes - https://www.drupal.org/node/2848778 - I think it would be really useful and am willing to do this change if no one else does.

Also I haven't seen an alpha or beta release, is there a reasoning for jumping straight to RC? Thanks.
