In situations where a search is being performed with CJK characters...

  • If the user enters a set of characters, then selects a complete phrase through the operating system's autocomplete mechanism (e.g. にっぽん --> 日本)...
  • And if the selected phrase from the OS autocomplete itself triggers a response from the GSA autocomplete widget...

The user can no longer use the enter key to submit the search query (for what was typed). The only way to submit the search is: _click_ the "search" button, tab out and back in and hit enter, or accepted one of the auto suggestions.
