Problem/Motivation

Cant install with Composer and on Drupal 9.3.7

Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

  Problem 1
    - Root composer.json requires drupal/google_analytics_reports ^4.0@alpha -> satisfiable by drupal/google_analytics_reports[4.0.0-alpha1].
    - drupal/google_analytics_reports 4.0.0-alpha1 requires drupal/google_analytics_reports_api * -> found drupal/google_analytics_reports_api[dev-3.x, dev-4.0.x, 3.0.0-beta1, ..., 3.x-dev (alias of dev-3.x), 4.0.0-alpha1, 4.0.x-dev (alias of dev-4.0.x)] but it does not match your minimum-stability.

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json and ./composer.lock to their original content.

+1 It's not installing with composer 1.10 or 2.2.9 on Debian GNU/Linux 10. Strangely I have no issue installing it on macOS 12.

You need:
composer require drupal/google_analytics_reports_api "@alpha" --no-update
when your project only allows Stable releases. Above statement allows non-stable releases from alpha and upwards.

Now you should be able to require google_analytics_reports
