In order to provide as much information as possible to end users I think that
this module should be marked as obsolete in the info file.
Add the obsolete lifecycle flag, and a link to the project page.
This will ensure no new installations. Additionally site owners will see a warning in the site status saying they are using an obsolete module and be presented with the lifecycle_link to read more.
