In past module versions (i.e. Drupal 7 Versions) there was a possibility to load the JS and the GA-Code in the footer. Is it possible to add an option in the backend, to load the needed js in the footer?

But now this is no longer supported by Google to place outside of header and that is why the feature has been removed. This is non-blocking JS code and does not require to be moved to footer. In opposite - it need to be in header.

This was never in 7.x-2.x. This was only in 1.x and this is unsupported for several years (3 years?).
