We've been using Google Analytics module for 3 years now. By now we haven't noticed but turns out clicks might be calculated wrong. After I've suspected this, I've added a trackable goo.gl link to my website and tracked the links on its platform.

Turns out Google analytics shows around 900 clicks on Outbound Links Event for the same URL, where as goo.gl link analytics shows 190.

How can I understand the source of this problem?

I know it's not related but there might be an issue on Pageview counts too. Google analytics shows around 390.000 for a day where YandexMetrica showing around 140.000.

I believe this is a duplicate of #2900677: Outbound links incorrectly tracked for multisites / top-level domains. If not, please reopen.
