First off great module and pretty simple to use.

I am using 'simple hierarchical select(SHS)' as widget for City selection from a vocabulary.
Everything works as expected but when I go to edit any node the SHS loads global filter values instead of node's own values.
Turning on Optimise and disallowing block on node/* fixes the said issue but then setting filter manually does not work, need to reload the pages twice to get the filters in effect.

I would appreciate any lead to a workaround or an immediate fix or some guideline to do a patch.

Hi @glance,
May have some time for this later.
For now, you could try the normal Hierarchical Select module instead?
Check the Global Filter README if you do decide to do so.

Hierarchical Select appears to work as expected. The only glitch now is autosubmit of HS is not work. Manually selecting appears to work perfectly

Yeah, that's this issue #1870864: List of widgets working/not-working in "auto-submit" mode. I simply haven't had the time to get to the bottom of it.
Maybe someone else can?
