I'm looking at the Gesso README, and it says:

Gesso includes several theme-specific settings for managing classes output by
Drupal, which you can change at admin/appearance/settings/gesso.

But I don't see a theme settings file in the code, nor any settings in the UI. Is this just a remnant of the D7 version?

Those custom theme settings are currently only in the D7 version, but we’re considering adding them to the D8 version as well.
