Maps need to define a center. There are many ways to do that. It might also be desired, to combine methods. Right now cente options are hardcoded. Move them to plugins.

I previously wrote some additional centering options which I have found useful They are in this issue https://www.drupal.org/project/geolocation/issues/2858033

If I were to rewrite them as plugins would you consider adding them?

@paulmartin84 absolutely. But I'm currently not yet happy with how this works. These CenterOptions are supposed to work with CommonMap Views Style (That's where you would add for example), but also with widget, formatter, and also completely without any map in the proximity field & filter.

And I'm currently still thinking on how to do that.
