Not a clue how to make this work [#1197176]

This module is not working at all for me.

the geoi.dat is accepted correctly and not error message is displayed.

using geoip redirection with fallback makes firefox show an error:

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Ie9 just show: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

And chrome just show the default language and not the one configured for my country.

So this module is plain not working at all in my drupal 6.22 installed from scratch, and I don't know where to start looking for the problem.

I quit testing geoip language and now I am trying to make geoip role work, but I can't make the geoip API work at all. I am also trying in a different server with no results, the configuration pages work ok, the error messages are clear and is easy to place the libraries, but is simple not working.

How can I troubleshoot this module???? Maybe maxmind changed the libraries or somethg???
